About Spherical Roller Bearings
Spherical roller bearings have two raceways on the inner ring and one spherical raceway on the outer ring. As the name implies, the rolling elements have a spherical profile, which lets the bearing self-align and absorb a degree of shaft misalignment or housing deflection.
Most of the bearings in the 222 series are available with the suffix options listed below, subject to design and manufacturing constraints. Bearings outside the standard range can also be developed for specific application requirements — contact our team with your requirement.
