SN2 Series Plummer Block Housings
SN2 series split plummer block housings in cast iron for shaft diameters of 25mm – 150mm. 21 sizes run from SN205 (25 mm shaft, 1.1 kg) to SN230 (150 mm shaft, 46 kg). At every shaft size it covers, SN2 has the smallest length, height and weight of the three standard series.

- Split (two-piece) cast iron housing with a modular design, so one housing size covers several bearing arrangements
- Two elongated bolt holes allow slight adjustment of the housing position when aligning
- The bearing seat is made for a non-locating (floating) arrangement, so the bearing can shift slightly to take up shaft expansion from heat
- Forms a complete bearing unit with self-aligning ball bearings or spherical roller bearings, with the choice of seals and lubrication left to the designer
- Special housing types can be made to order for requirements outside the standard range
