Nuts
Lock Nuts
Lock nuts keep a joint tight where vibration would loosen a plain nut. All-metal prevailing-torque types deform the top thread or crown to grip the bolt, so they also work at temperatures where a nylon insert would fail.
- Works at higher temperatures than nylon insert nuts
- Reusable a limited number of times
- Prevailing torque holds position
