About Tapered Roller Bearings
The rolling elements of a tapered roller bearing are tapered rollers, forming a line contact with the raceways of the inner ring (cone) and outer ring (cup). They are separable bearings, available in both metric and inch dimensions.
They can be made to special dimensional requirements within basic design limitations.
